ECB, BOE Likely To Hold Rates

We at Indiana Grain are anticipating a busy day of international economic data - although no major surprises are expected.
Interest rate decisions from the European Central Bank and the Bank of England along with revised gross domestic product data for the eurozone are due today. Both central banks are expected to hold their key rates at record lows.
The Bank of England's interest rate announcement is due at 7:00 am ET. The central bank is widely expected to retain its key rate at a record low of 0.50%. The bank is also expected to withhold from pumping more money into the economy by way of its asset purchase program.
Afterward at 7:45 am ET, interest rate decision from the European Central Bank. Economists expect the policy rate to be retained at a record low of 1.00%. Central bank chief Jean-Claude Trichet will be holding his regular press conference at 8:30 am ET.
