Wall Street Weighs In Ahead of CME Earnings

Ahead of the CME Group’s announcement of its third quarter earnings on Tuesday, Wall Street analysts have grown exceptionally more bullish as expectations have improved since early October (from $4.53 per share to $4.64 per share currently).
The Wall Street consensus is now 26.8% higher than it was a year ago when CME reported earnings of $3.66 per share.
During the last three months, the consensus estimate has also spiked from $4.16. Analysts are expecting earnings of $17.52 for the fiscal year per share.
Revenue is projected to be 18.9% above the year-earlier total of $733.4 million at $872.3 million for the quarter. Revenue is projected be $3.36 billion for the year.
Better than two-thirds of analysts (66.7%) now rate CME as a buy.
